La segunda edición del Spain Goth Day convirtió la madrileña sala Sala Pirandello en un punto de encuentro para la comunidad dark nacional e internacional. El pasado 16 de mayo, Madrid acogió una jornada maratoniana dedicada al post-punk, darkwave, synth y gothic rock, reuniendo sobre un mismo escenario cuatro propuestas muy diferentes entre sí, pero unidas por una misma sensibilidad oscura: NNHMN, Echoberyl, Blood Desire y Daniel Knutz. El evento, organizado por Dark Entries Spain, volvió a demostrar que la escena oscura en España atraviesa uno de sus momentos más sólidos.
Desde primeras horas de la tarde se respiraba un ambiente de celebración. Lejos de limitarse a una sucesión de conciertos, el Spain Goth Day se presentó como una experiencia cultural completa. La apertura musical corrió a cargo de Daniel Knutz, cuya propuesta combinó sensibilidad melancólica y electrónica envolvente. A continuación llegó el turno de Blood Desire, proyecto que continúa consolidándose dentro del panorama dark ibérico. Su combinación de post-punk, gothic rock y darkwave aportó contundencia y emotividad a partes iguales.
La representación francesa vino de la mano de Echoberyl, uno de los nombres más respetados del darkwave europeo contemporáneo. El dúo desplegó una actuación elegante y atmosférica, construida sobre bases electrónicas hipnóticas, melodías envolventes y una estética impecable.
El punto culminante de la noche llegó con NNHMN, probablemente el nombre más esperado del cartel. El dúo germano-polaco demostró por qué se ha convertido en una referencia internacional dentro del darkwave actual. Su actuación destacó por la fuerza de sus composiciones, la impecable presencia escénica y una capacidad extraordinaria para generar atmósferas densas y emocionales. Cada canción fue recibida con entusiasmo por una audiencia completamente entregada, que encontró en el concierto uno de esos momentos capaces de justificar por sí solos la asistencia a un festival.
Con una asistencia notable, un cartel cuidadosamente seleccionado y una organización que apostó por ofrecer una experiencia completa, esta segunda edición del Spain Goth Day confirmó que este evento ha dejado de ser una promesa para convertirse en una cita imprescindible dentro del calendario oscuro europeo.

The second edition of Spain Goth Day transformed Madrid’s Sala Pirandello into a meeting point for the national and international dark community. On May 16, Madrid hosted a marathon event dedicated to post-punk, darkwave, synth and gothic rock, bringing together four very different acts on the same stage, all united by a shared dark sensibility: NNHMN, Echoberyl, Blood Desire and Daniel Knutz. Organized by Dark Entries Spain, the event once again demonstrated that the dark scene in Spain is going through one of its strongest moments.
From the early hours of the afternoon, the atmosphere was one of celebration. Far from being just a succession of concerts, Spain Goth Day presented itself as a complete cultural experience. The musical proceedings opened with Daniel Knutz, whose performance combined melancholic sensitivity with immersive electronics. Next came Blood Desire, a project that continues to establish itself within the Iberian dark scene. Their blend of post-punk, gothic rock and darkwave delivered equal measures of intensity and emotion.
The French contingent was represented by Echoberyl, one of the most respected names in contemporary European darkwave. The duo delivered an elegant and atmospheric performance, built upon hypnotic electronic foundations, enveloping melodies, and an impeccable aesthetic. Their set captivated the audience with its cinematic quality and emotional depth, seamlessly blending dark electronic textures with moments of ethereal beauty. The chemistry between the two musicians and their commanding stage presence reinforced their reputation as one of the genre’s most compelling live acts.
